Wicket keeping program (book)

​

This program is aimed at those players who are interested in improving their wicketkeeping and who are wicketkeeping at their club. The program covers the basics of wicketkeeping and will primarily focus on the three key elements of wicketkeeping: your head, hands and feet. Please bring along your own keeping gloves (and pads) as well as your helmet for some live net training.

Pre-season skill development program (book)

​

The Perth Cricket Academy pre-season skill development program offers players the opportunity to technically improve their batting and bowling skills during 5 intensive training sessions over August & September.  

​

In a group of maximum 8 players, our coaches will dissect your batting and bowling technique and provide each player with individual tips on how to improve. Technique and game scenarios are the main focus for this program and throwing, catching and fielding activities are covered too.

 

This program is run on Sunday's throughout June in Ocean Reef and East Vic Park and is aimed at intermediate players who are looking to take their game to another level next season.

Program content

Batting:      set-up (stance, grip, head position), balance & stroke play
 

Bowling:    run-up, gather, delivery, follow through (both pace & spin)
 

Fielding:    ground fielding, catching & throwing

​

Game scenarios:    live net sessions, challenging targets for both bowlers & batters, etc

​

Training program

5 session of 90 min each
